Slideshow Maker
Turn a batch of photos into a downloadable MP4 slideshow — reorder by drag-and-drop, pick a transition, add background music, and export in 1080p or 720p. Everything renders locally with FFmpeg.wasm; your photos and music never leave your device.

How to make a slideshow from photos
- Load the engine. Click "Load FFmpeg Engine" once — it downloads the browser-based video encoder (about 31 MB) so the rest of the tool works fully offline.
- Add and reorder photos. Drop in your JPEG, PNG, or WebP images, then drag the thumbnails into the order you want them to play.
- Set duration, transition, and resolution. Choose how many seconds each slide shows, pick "None" or "Crossfade" as the transition, and select 1080p or 720p output — optionally add a background music track.
- Generate and download. Click "Generate Slideshow" to render the MP4 in your browser, preview it, then download the finished file.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. Every photo, your music track, and the rendered slideshow are processed entirely in your browser using FFmpeg.wasm — nothing is sent to a server.
- What transitions are supported?
- Two options: "None" for a hard cut between slides, or "Crossfade" for a smooth 1-second fade between consecutive photos.
- Why is crossfade limited to 20 images?
- Crossfade renders every image as its own looped video input at once, which uses significantly more browser memory than a hard cut. Above 20 images the tool automatically falls back to "None" to avoid crashing your browser tab.
- Can I add background music?
- Yes. Upload any audio file after generating the base slideshow, and the tool muxes it in as a second pass — the track loops automatically if it's shorter than your slideshow and trims to match if it's longer.
- What resolution and format does it export?
- MP4 (H.264/AAC) at either 1080p (1920×1080) or 720p (1280×720), with photos scaled and letterboxed to fit without stretching or cropping.
- Is there a limit on how many photos I can use?
- No hard limit for the "None" transition — it depends on your device's memory and how long you're willing to wait for rendering. Crossfade is capped at 20 images.
