Frequently Asked Questions
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. Every photo is loaded, watermarked, and exported entirely inside your browser using the Canvas API — nothing is ever sent to a server.
- Does this remove watermarks from my photos?
- No — this tool only adds a watermark to your images. It does not detect, remove, or erase existing watermarks from photos. If a photo already has a watermark on it, this tool will not take it off.
- What is the difference between tiled and single watermark placement?
- Tiled mode repeats your text in a rotated diagonal grid across the entire photo — the classic anti-theft pattern that makes an image hard to reuse without your mark. Single placement puts one instance of your text or logo at a chosen corner, edge, or center position, better suited for subtle branding.
- Can I use a logo instead of text?
- Yes. Switch to Logo Watermark mode and drop in a PNG (transparency supported), then set its scale as a percentage of the photo width, its opacity, and where it should sit using the 9-position grid.
- Can I watermark multiple photos at once?
- Yes. Drop in as many photos as you like, dial in your text or logo style once, and it applies to every photo in the batch. Click "Download All as ZIP" to export them all together.
- Will the watermark look sharp on high-resolution photos?
- Yes. The watermark is rendered directly onto a full-resolution canvas matching your photo's original dimensions — font size and logo scale are percentages of image width, so they stay crisp and proportional at any resolution.
