YouTube Auto Subscribe Link Generator
A YouTube auto-subscribe link is your channel URL plus `?sub_confirmation=1`. Clicking it opens the channel and YouTube’s own “Subscribe?” dialog. The viewer still confirms. This page is not a subscriber bot and cannot add subscribers without that click.
Private by design. The channel URL is parsed in this tab and the subscribe link is a string — nothing is uploaded, and we do not call the YouTube API.

How to make a YouTube auto subscribe link
- Open the channel page. Go to the YouTube channel (the Home tab), not a video. Copy the URL from the address bar.
- Paste it here. @handle, youtube.com/channel/UC…, /c/Name, /user/Name, or a bare UC id all work. Video URLs are rejected on purpose.
- Copy the subscribe link. The page appends ?sub_confirmation=1 and rebuilds a clean youtube.com URL. HTML and Markdown wrappers sit under the URL.
- Use it where you promote the channel. Video descriptions, a link-in-bio, an email, a slide. The viewer still has to tap Subscribe on YouTube’s dialog.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Does this auto-subscribe people without asking?
- No. YouTube always shows a confirmation dialog. A silent subscribe would violate YouTube’s terms and this page does not attempt it.
- Why did my video URL fail?
- A watch, Shorts, or youtu.be link is a video, not a channel. Open the channel page and paste that instead. We do not call a YouTube API to look up the channel from a video id.
- Should I use @handle or the UC channel ID?
- Both work with ?sub_confirmation=1. The UC /channel/UC… form is the permanent id and will not break if the handle changes. @handle is shorter to share.
- Does /c/Name still work?
- Yes. Legacy /c/ and /user/ URLs are rewritten to the same parameter. Prefer @handle or /channel/UC… when you have them.
- Is my URL uploaded?
- No. Parsing and the output strings run in this tab. Nothing is sent to orangebot.
- Is this affiliated with YouTube?
- No. It only builds a URL YouTube already documents.
Use Cases
- Put a subscribe link in a video description instead of a plain channel URL
- Add a Subscribe button on a personal site that opens YouTube’s dialog
- Share an @handle subscribe link in a newsletter or link-in-bio
- Convert an old /c/ or /user/ URL into a confirmation link
