Photo tools / JPG to WebP
When to use JPG to WebP
Make a WebP version of a JPEG photo for web delivery.
How it works
- Choose JPG images. Set the quality before adding images. Drop one or more .jpg or .jpeg files to start converting to WebP.
- Check the converted result. Processing happens on this device, without uploading your photos. Check that each result shows the expected format before downloading.
- Download the files. Download a single result or use Download ZIP for a batch. Keep your original files if you need metadata or animation.
Before you convert
A smaller file is not guaranteed. Re-encoding a JPEG adds compression loss; compare the result before discarding the original.
This tool exports the decoded pixels, not the original metadata. EXIF, GPS, color profiles and animation are not preserved. Very large images may exceed your device memory. No size-reduction or exact color-match guarantee.
