Table Chart Maker

Type straight into the sample table to build your own, and every change shows up as you make it. Reset brings the sample table back whenever you want a clean start.

Build the table

Start from the sample table and edit the cells in place — each change lands right away. Give the table a title at the top, then shape the grid: add a row for one more entry, add a column for one more field, or remove either one again if the table has grown too big. Turn on row numbers when readers need to point at a particular line.

All of this happens in your browser and nothing is uploaded while you work. If the table gets messy, Reset restores the sample table so you can begin again.

Sort, style and export

Choose a column to sort by and the rows fall into order on that column. For appearance there are controls for background colour, border colour and border width, along with striped rows for alternating shading down the table and a small size that renders it more compactly.

Once the table looks right, Copy CSV takes it out as text you can paste somewhere else, and Save CSV saves it as a file.

Row and column formula

The grid stays rectangular: every row holds one cell for each column, so adding a column puts a cell into every row, and adding a row adds a full line of empty cells underneath. Row numbers sit beside the rows as labels and do not change how many cells there are.

Sorting moves whole rows rather than single cells, so the values in a row stay together and the columns keep their positions across the page. Copy CSV and Save CSV take the grid as it stands.
