PNG to PDF Converter
Turn one or more PNG files into a single PDF without uploading anything. Each accepted image becomes one page in the order you picked them, centered with the aspect ratio kept, and the finished PDF is saved by your browser.
PNG to PDF
One image per page in pick order, aspect ratio preserved, saved by your browser - nothing leaves this tab.
Files are read in this browser tab only. Up to 50 images per PDF, 20.0 MB each.
File contents are processed locally in this browser tab and are not uploaded by this tool. Generated pages keep the image inside the selected margin by default; other size modes can overflow the page deliberately and the warning above tells you when.
JPEGs carrying EXIF Orientation are placed upright in the PDF by a native page rotation — the image bytes are never re-encoded, so quality is untouched. Unreadable EXIF falls back to unrotated and is flagged in the list. 16-bit PNGs are embedded as 8-bit (visible quality reduction for that case); animated PNGs are rejected rather than flattened.
Add PNG images
Drop files in or use the picker — you can select several at once. Files are checked by their actual PNG bytes, not the filename, so a JPEG renamed to .png is rejected with a clear message.
Pick page options
Choose from sixteen page presets, portrait or landscape, four margin sizes, a fit mode, and a percent scale. The default fit keeps the aspect ratio, keeps the whole image inside the margins, and centers it; alternate modes can overflow the page and the tool warns you when they do.
Generate and download
One press builds a single PDF with one image per page and saves it locally. An optional title sets the document title and the download filename.
How the conversion works
- Does anything get uploaded?
- No. The conversion runs entirely in this browser tab with a bundled open-source PDF library. Your images are not sent to a server, cloud storage, or any third party, and no account, camera, or sync feature is used.
- How is each image placed on the page?
- The default fit keeps the aspect ratio: the image is scaled (up or down) to fit inside the page minus the margin you chose, then centered on the page. Pages appear in the same order as your selected files.
- What happens to transparent PNGs?
- Transparency is preserved. The image alpha channel is carried into the PDF as a soft mask, so transparent areas stay transparent and your PDF viewer composites them over its own background (typically white or a checkerboard). This is pinned by automated tests that read the mask samples back out of the generated PDF for RGBA, palette, and grayscale-alpha images.
- Which PNG files are accepted?
- Standard PNGs in every defined color type — full color, grayscale, and palette, with or without transparency, including interlaced files. Animated PNG (APNG) is refused with a clear message, as are corrupt or truncated files, so you never get a silently broken PDF. One honest limit: 16-bit PNGs are accepted but embedded at 8 bits per channel, a quality reduction for high-bit-depth sources imposed by the bundled PDF library.
