Notes

A simple multi-page notepad that runs entirely in this page. Type in the box, press Add to start another page, and use Prev / Next to flip between them. Your notes come back when you return — saved right here in your browser, no login required.

Note 1 of 1

Notes are stored only in this browser.

STEP 1

Type your first note

Click in the big text box and write anything — a meeting summary, a draft post, a shopping list. Every keystroke is saved to this browser immediately, so a refresh or an accidental tab close loses nothing.

STEP 2

Add pages and flip between them

Press Add for a fresh blank page — the counter up top reads “Note 2 of 2”. Use Prev and Next to walk between pages; they stop at the ends instead of wrapping, so you always know where you are.

STEP 3

Delete what you do not need

Press Delete to remove the page you are looking at — the next page slides into place. Deleting the very last note leaves you with one clean blank page, never a broken empty screen.

Rules at a glance

  • There is always at least one note: deleting the only page resets it to a fresh blank page.
  • Prev / Next never wrap — both buttons go inactive at the first and last page.
  • Note text is stored verbatim: emoji, accents and CJK included, with no trimming and no length limit.
  • After every change the pages are written to this browser’s local storage and reloaded when you return.
  • If private browsing blocks storage, the note keeps working for the current tab and a “Could not save — storage unavailable” line tells you why.

Frequently asked questions

Where are my notes stored?
Only in this browser, in its own local storage, written after every keystroke and button press. No account, no server, nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Do my notes sync to my phone or another computer?
No. Each browser keeps its own copy, on its own device. To move a note, select its text, copy it, and paste it wherever you need it.
Can I open the tool in two tabs at once?
Both tabs start from the same saved copy, and whichever tab changes last overwrites the saved state when it writes. For one stream of edits, stick to a single tab.
What happens if the saved data gets corrupted?
If the saved copy is unreadable — for example after manual edits to the browser’s storage — the tool quietly starts one fresh blank page and says so. It never crashes and never uploads the broken data.
Is there a character limit or formatting I can use?
No limit and no formatting — each page is plain text, stored exactly as you type it (line breaks, emoji and CJK all survive a reload untouched).

Privacy: this notes app runs entirely in your browser tab. Nothing you type is uploaded to a server; your pages live in this browser’s local storage and never leave this device. Clearing your browser’s site data erases them, and some private-browsing modes block storage — the tool tells you when that happens instead of failing silently.
