Calendar

An online month calendar. It opens on this month with today underlined, and one text box moves it anywhere: type a year, a month, or an exact date and the grid jumps there, with the entered day highlighted. Weekdays run Sunday to Saturday, and leap years are handled correctly — everything is computed in your browser.

Try 2026, 2026-11, 11-2026, 2026-11-03, or November 2026 — leave empty for this month.

STEP 1

Open the page

The calendar immediately shows the current month in a Sunday-first grid. Today carries a bold accent underline, and the week starts at Sunday across the top header row.

STEP 2

Type a year, month, or date

In the single box, enter 2026 (jumps to January 2026), 2026-11 or 11-2026 (any month), 2026-11-03 (a precise day), or a name such as November 2026 and Nov 2026. A bare name like november uses this year.

STEP 3

Read the grid

Day 1 always sits under its true weekday, the grid shows exactly the real days of that month (28 to 31), and the entered date gets a highlighted cell. Clear the box to return to the current month.

How the calendar works

Which date formats does the jump box accept?
Five formats, nothing else: YYYY (that year’s January), YYYY-MM or MM-YYYY (that month), YYYY-MM-DD (that exact day, highlighted), or an English month name with an optional year such as November 2026, nov 2026, or november for this year. Whitespace around the value is ignored.
What happens if I type something invalid?
A short error appears under the box and the grid stays exactly where it was. Impossible dates are rejected instead of being rolled over: 2026-02-30 and 2026-04-31 are errors, not March 2 or May 1.
How are leap years handled?
By the full Gregorian rule: February has 29 days in 2024 and 2000 (divisible by 4, and by 400 for centuries) but only 28 days in 2026, 1900, and 2100 — so 2100-02-29 is rejected as an invalid date.
Which weekday does the week start on?
Sunday. The header row runs Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, and the first day of the month sits in the column of its true weekday, verified against the browser’s calendar.
Does the calendar need an internet connection or an account?
The page must load once, but every computation — month length, weekday alignment, leap-year checks — runs locally in your browser’s date engine. No sign-in, no saved history, and the dates you type are never sent anywhere.

Privacy: the calendar is computed entirely in your browser tab — no value you type is sent anywhere.
