DAILY #1 · RESETS 00:00 UTC · GAMES SHELF

Water Sort.

Pour colour onto matching colour until every tube holds one shade. A pour is only legal into an empty tube or onto its own colour — so the order you empty things in is the whole puzzle.

How to play the water sort puzzle

  1. Each tube holds up to four layers of coloured liquid. Tap a tube to lift its top colour, then tap another tube to pour.
  2. A pour is legal only into an empty tube, or onto a tube whose top layer is the same colour. The whole top run moves at once, as far as it fits.
  3. Fill a tube with four of one colour and it seals — that colour is finished and can never pour out again.
  4. Win by leaving every tube either empty or a single solid colour. Undo is unlimited, so experimenting costs nothing but moves.
  5. The daily puzzle is the same for every player and resets at 00:00 UTC. Endless mode adds a colour each level.

Frequently asked

Is every puzzle actually solvable?
Yes — and not by luck. The generator starts from a solved board and un-pours it step by step, keeping only moves that a legal forward pour would undo exactly. That guarantees a path home from the position you are given.
What happens if I get stuck?
Undo as far back as you like, or hit Restart to reset the level. The Hint button runs a solver on your current board and names the next pour, so it tells you whether you are still on a winning line at all.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes — it is tap-to-select, tap-to-pour, and the tubes wrap to fit a phone screen. On a desktop you can play entirely from the keyboard: number keys select tubes, U undoes, R restarts.
