How to play block puzzle
You get three pieces at a time. Drag one onto the 8×8 grid, or tap the piece and then tap where you want it.
Pieces cannot be rotated and cannot overlap anything already on the board.
Fill an entire row or an entire column and it clears. Complete a row and a column on the same move and both go — the shared cell doesn't save either one.
You only get new pieces once all three are played, so plan the whole tray, not just the piece you like.
The game ends when none of your remaining pieces fits anywhere. Beat the daily par to keep your streak alive.
How the score works
One point per cell placed — so the big 3×3 square is worth nine just for landing it.
Ten points per line cleared, squared for multi-line clears. One line is 10, two at once is 40, three at once is 90. Setting up a double is worth two singles and then some.
Combo bonus for clearing on back-to-back turns, five points per line per step of the streak.
Three habits of a long run
Keep a 3×3 hole open. The square is the least flexible piece in the set. If there is nowhere to put it, the run usually ends within two turns.
Build from the edges in. Holes in the middle of the grid are far harder to fill than holes against a wall.
Look at all three pieces before placing any. The tray only refills when it is empty, so a greedy first placement can strand the other two.
