To the East the Clock Tower stands tall, with bright lights dotting the forest below and leading to Route 42. To the North-west, the iconic Burned Tower is encased in the dark bamboo glade, where many lights and will-o-the-wisps create a circle of warm, eerire light around the three legendary beasts guarding the monument. Zubat, Golbat and Crobat can be seen flying around. To the east, atop the central shrine zen garden backyard, a shiny Ninetales observes silently the city. Trainer Kris is exploring the verdant Bell Path, just beyond the wooden arched bridge. Below the bridge, a river flows into a waterfall, leading to the great pond at the temple's base. Here many poliwags are playing in the water, while Politoed sings on the top of a rock. At the end of Bell Path stands the Bell Tower, with its many stories; the trusted monk still guarding its access. An eerie light envelopes the South-western shrine, located by an old graveyard immersed in wisteria flowers. This also serves as the city gym, where Morty, the gym leader, can be found by the entrance with his ace, Gengar. The Theatre is opened tonight: a bright warmth light welcomes the visitors by the street: a kimono girl dance is to be expected. A brightly illuminated pokemon center can be found just below, with a traditional wooden sign and a huge pokeball on the roof. This forms takes inspiration from a few classes of arthropods and deep-sea anellids, such as polychaete worms, opiliones (harvestmen). Another core concept is the exuvia of a chrysalis, showing its open shell, and entomology pins for bug collections. These references, bringing this fanmade form to a more insect-like appearence are meant to enhance Giratina's possible inspiration: the Ōmukade Giant Centipede from japanese folklore. A reference to the Iron Maiden is also used, as the empty hollowed body of Giratina Ø is meant to resemble a portal and a trap, with its trademark red spikes / claws. The core concept rotates around the idea of white hole and Kruskal-Szekeres coordinates, describing the geometry surrounding the black hole region and most notably its space-time division, as well as the theoretical white hole existance. The Ø itself is a reference to the Null Sign in mathematical theory of sets. Another science-based reference is the Pitch Drop Experiment, demonstrating the liquid properties of bitumen over a long period of time. Other than those, a screen of Arceus's glowing silhouette from the Legends: Arceus Game intro is shown, then a promotional artwork by Yusuke Ohmura for HeartGold and Soul Silver, with the main protagonists summoning the creator pokemon at Sinhoh Ruins Altar. A few movie stills of the Reverse World from Pokémon: Giratina and the Sky Warrior. The Eye of God from Fullmetal Alchemist is also offered as a little easter egg.2026-01-11♥ 44 ↗
