WHAT'S HAPPENING?
On July 25th, users discovered their private chats and "Artifacts" with Claude were publicly searchable on Google using specific parameters.
The vulnerability was discovered when users realized the shareable links they give to others also indexed the data on Google Search, even when the links are not supposed to be public.
The exposed chats included data like: a crypto user's wallet keys, a dashboard for medical billing data, medical records, login credentials, a lawyer's breach of conduct, names, addresses, phone numbers, and more.

Thank you to everyone who put your trust in the @aimod.social labeler. Your support means the world to me and the whole team. The project is officially restarting, but I am stepping down from my role.

While I had an amazing team alongside me and the work we did felt fulfilling and meaningful, being the primary public face took a toll. Between the massive time commitment of moderation and the stress of navigating disputes over mistaken labels, I realized it is time for me to step back and focus on other projects.

As a team, we collectively decided to pause the labeler recently. We needed that time to overhaul our methods and revise terminology to ensure the project is done right, better serves the community, and protects the people who give so much of themselves to keep @aimod.social operational.

The labeler is in great hands with the same amazing team. I can’t express enough just how incredible they are and how dedicated they’ve been to protecting and informing the art community. Please keep an eye out for an official update from the @aimod.social account! (side note: they will likely need more volunteers soon, too!)

I am passing the baton and stepping away from project duties, but I'll always be rooting for them.
